On July 20th, 2022, the Prince Edward County Planning Committee recommended the approval of rezoning the property located at 29 Disraeli Street to permit the construction of affordable housing.

A public session was held on July 13th, 2022 at the Wellington Community Center to allow residents an opportunity to see what is planned for the site of the prior Duke Dome.

At the May 24th Board meeting of the Prince Edward County Affordable Housing Corporation, four new board members were appointed for a two-year term.
