The Prince Edward County Affordable Housing Corporation has become a member of ONPHA (Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association) and CHRA (Canadian Housing & Renewal Association).
ONPHA has a membership of 700 non-profit housing providers throughout Ontario. Founded in 1988, ONPHA is a leading provincial advocate of the critical role that affordable housing plays in Ontario. Their vision is that secure, decent and affordable housing is a human right and fundamental social determinant of health in addition to being the foundation of vibrant and successful communities.
CHRA was established in 1968 and is the national voice in Canada speaking on the full range of issues related to affordable, social and non-profit housing with the focus of advocacy centered around keeping homes affordable, ending homelessness, and renewing our communities. CHRA represent affordable and non-profit housing providers in everyCanadian province and territory.
